Come in.
Over.
I am officially a QR coder. Over.
That's a Quebec-Romeo code master. Over
Check it out below. Over.

This tech tool is easy to use- it merely requires that you enter a short message, link, or photo into the text box on goqr.me and then download it! You must also download a QR code reader on a smartphone, iPad, or Tablet.
It would be a fun activity to ask students to write some kind of short poetry (i.e. Haiku or limerick), transform it into QR code, and then tape them up around the room for a poetry share. One challenge might be that all students would require access to some kind of digital device (smartphone, iPad, tablet, etc.), so it depends on availability of various tools.

Nonetheless, it would be an unorthodox approach to sharing ideas in the classroom. A teacher who knows she or he will have access to multiple devices for the students to use might even consider a writing workshop in which the QR codes around the room contain clues or directions for an activity!
