Bananas for the Survey Monkey

Survey Monkey is a simple tech tool to create and administer online surveys.  I find the tool simple to use, as there are easily accessible toggles, as well as tips and guidance as you format your survey.  This would be a great tool to take inventory in a classroom.  Since there are various format choices for each question, (i.e. multiple choice, ranking, short answer), a teacher might use this to his or her benefit to gauge where students are in their learning.  For instance, a teacher might make a survey and send the link out at the end of the first month and ask questions such as, "Do you feel adjusted to the classroom?" "On a scale of 1-10 how well do you know where to find materials in the classroom?" "What is most challenging for you in school right now?" "What is your favorite subject?" etc.  It would be a way for the teacher to get to know the students on an even deeper level, as it is challenging to find time to talk extensively face-to-face with every student apart from reading groups and conferences, during which there is other work to complete!

The Survey Monkey that I made for practice focuses on Healthy Living. Check it out!
